Mahakumbh 2025: Akhilesh Yadav accuses UP government of ‘mismanagement’, takes a sarcasm while offering help. peppermint

Date:

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday accused the Uttar Pradesh government of ‘mismanagement’ and delay in security arrangements for the mega religious event ‘Maha Kumbh’ to be held in Prayagraj in January 2025.

Raising issues related to security arrangements, local concerns and overall administration in Prayagraj, the SP chief shared a video on Twitter and requested the government to take immediate corrective action.

“This is the truth about the preparations for ‘Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025’ under the BJP government! At least the work of the police department should have been completed long ago, because the management of the security cordon does not wait for the last day.” Said.

Among other things, Akhilesh also alleged that the needs of local residents were being ignored and questioned the priorities of the government.

“The suffering people of Prayagraj are asking that the BJP government showed great promptness in removing the statue of ‘Mahadani’ Emperor Harsh Vardhan, but why the same promptness is not being shown in the administrative management?’ Akhilesh Yadav said.

Akhilesh Yadav offered help:

The SP chief highlighted the complaints of people related to transport and movement around the Mahakumbh area.

“Alternative arrangements should also be made to address the concerns of Prayagraj residents regarding movement and transportation in case of an emergency,” he said.

He said that his party wants Mahakumbh to continue and Prayagraj also to remain dynamic.

Meanwhile, Akhilesh offered his party’s help to the state government, but got two shocks at the same time.

He said, “If the administration has failed in the preparations for the Maha Kumbh, then we propose to send our true and dedicated workers to help because the BJP people will be busy in earning money or election planning.”

About Mahakumbh:

Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is scheduled to start on 13 January 2025 and will end with Maha Shivratri on 26 January 2025. Mahakumbh happens once every 12 years.
