The inspiration behind Aabha
Rahul posted photos of a model from the show, walking the runway in a black lacy-sequined dress. The highlight of this look is its headgear – two sequined heads protruding from either side. Rahul wrote in his post that this dress is dedicated to the three-headed Lord Brahma.
“Aura | Couture Fall 2024 The Hindu god Brahma, also known as Trikaldarshi, which means the seer of all times – past, present and future – is the creator of the entire universe. In mythology, he is depicted with four heads to contemplate all directions simultaneously. This garment symbolizes the inherent energy of Lord Brahma’s ‘seer’ with two faces etched on the surface of the silhouette, representing the imperceptible nature of the Lord and the aura of his creation surrounding him.”
Revolutionizing fashion
Fans of the designer were stunned to see the artwork. “Wow, you already revolutionised fashion but you really nailed this artwork,” one wrote. “Wow. This is something else,” another wrote. “Hats off to your creativity. I really liked the idea behind Aura,” another commented.
Rahul Mishra has been enjoying incredible success for the past few years. Last year, Zendaya wore his sari-dress to the inauguration of NMACC in Mumbai. His outfits have also been seen on Golda Rochewell, Gwen Stefani and others. Fashion stylist Law Roach wore his suit to the Met Gala this year.
Janhvi Kapoor walked for the designer at the Paris Fashion Week show. She wore a black top and black fishtail skirt on the runway.
