The Northeast Railway administration of Varanasi division has decided to run local trains again between Siwan-Chhapra-Samastipur. The train will start running from 24 June 2024.

Train no. 55122 Siwan-Samastipur passenger train will depart from Siwan every morning at 04:00. From there, it will reach Chhapra at 05:40-05:45 via Pachrukhi at 04:10, Duraundha at 04:21, Chainwa at 04:31, Mahendranath Halt at 04:37, Ekma at 04:44, Daudpur at 04:56, Kopasamhota at 05:06, Tekniwas at 05:15.

The train will further depart from Avatar Nagar at 06:50, Dighwara at 07:00, Sheetalpur at 07:10, Naya Gaon at 07:20, Parmanandpur at 08:20, Sonpur at 08:32 and Hajipur at 08:42-08:47. Varanasi division’s Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar said that this train will have a total of 14 coaches including two SLRs and 12 unreserved coaches. It has been decided to run this train again for the convenience of passengers. This train was stopped due to some reasons. Thousands of passengers will get a lot of convenience after the train starts running again.
