The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Mains Answer Key 2024 challenge window on February 9. Candidates wishing to raise objections against the answer keys can do so through the official website of JEE Mains, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The link to challenge JEE Mains answer key will be active till 11 pm tonight. Earlier the last date for raising objections was 8th February, which has been revised to 9th February. Candidates wishing to raise objections will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee Rs.200 per question was challenged. The payment process should be completed by 11.50 pm tonight through debit card, credit card or net banking.

The official notice states that if the objections raised by the candidate are found to be correct, the answer key will be revised and implemented in the response of all the candidates accordingly. The result will be prepared on the basis of revised final answer key.

Here’s how to challenge JEE Main answer key 2024:
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
- Click on ‘Challenges regarding Answer Key’ on the homepage.
- Enter application number and date of birth to login and click on submit.
- Now click on ‘Challenges regarding answer key’.
- To challenge the most appropriate answer key by NTA, see the question ID next to the question under the ‘Correct Option’ column.
- Click on the check box of any one or more option IDs given in the next four columns.
- Upload supporting documents, if any.
- After clicking on the desired option for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry for Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Mathematics, scroll down and click on ‘Save your Claim’ Do it. / Aptitude Test / Planning for Paper 2B (B.Planning).
- All option IDs challenged will be displayed, click on ‘Save your claim’ and complete the process by paying the fee.

In respect of those candidates who may have challenged without proper Question ID or Option ID, they can challenge again while their previous fees will be refunded soon. These candidates were informed through e-mail and SMS to make changes if necessary.

On February 6, the provisional answer keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) along with question papers with recorded responses were released on the website . According to the official brochure, JEE Mains Session 1 Result 2024 will be announced on February 12. For detailed information candidates should visit the official website of NTA JEE.
