Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the admission schedule for classes 1-11 for the upcoming academic session 2024-25. Parents and guardians wishing to admit their children in Class 1 are advised to check the admission calendar for the registration window which opens at 8 am on April 1 and closes at 5 pm on April 15 She goes.
For Class 11 candidates, registration will start ten days after the declaration of Class 10 board exam results. This year, KVS has introduced a new admission portal to streamline the admission process in its 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools.
Parents should note that children seeking admission in Class 1 must have completed six years of age by March 31, 2024, with the cut-off date being April 1, 2018. Offline registrations for classes 2 and above will also start from April 1. Ending on 10th April.
Registrations for Kindergarten Level 1, 2, and 3 will be conducted offline in schools from April 1. Children applying for Kindergarten should be between 3 to 6 years of age as on March 31, 2024. KVS follows reservation quota with 15% seats. 7.5% is reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC categories.
Important Dates to Remember
– Registration for Class 1: From April 1 to April 15
– First selected and waiting list for class 1: 19 April
– Next Lists for Class 1: 29th April and 8th May
– Second notification for admission to Class 1 (if necessary): 7 May, registration from 8 May to 15 May
– Registration for Class 2 and above: 1st April to 10th April
– Admission process for Class 2 and above: Except Class 11, will continue till June 29.
Required documents required for admission
Parents must ensure that they have the following documents for successful admission:
– Original birth certificate of the child
– SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
– Residential certificate
– Service certificate of the child’s mother/father
– Two photographs of the child.
In case of vacancies in class II, offline admission processes will be conducted from April 1 to April 10, with applications to be submitted to the office of the principal of the respective school.
