Kia Carrens has been slated to receive an all-electric version in the coming months.
Kia Carrence MPV has crossed the milestone of selling two lakh units in the Indian market, since its launch 36 months ago. The South Korean car manufacturer has also said that 28 percent of the Kia Carrence customers have opted for a high-kalpna sunroof-equipped variants. The automaker has also claimed that it has exported more than 24,000 units of Carrence MPV to 70 separate markets internationally.
This achievement comes when the automaker is working on the electric version of the MPV. Kia Carrence EV has been slated to launch in the Indian market in the coming months, followed by a mid-life facelift for the ice version of Careers.

Speaking on the achievement, Hardip Singh Brar, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said that Carrence has defined the family mover segment with advanced features, huge interiors and unrelated security. “Kia Carrence’s success is a will for trust and innovation, inspired by our deep understanding of the developed needs of Indian families. Kia Carrence: Dives deep in MPV sales
Kia has revealed that Career’s Sunroof -equipped variants have so far contributed 28 percent to the total sales of MPV. On the other hand, the top variants of MPV took 24 percent of its total sales. When it comes to fuel-specific sales percentage, the petrol-powered variants of the car contributed 58 percent of the total number, while the diesel model sold 42 percent of the total sales.
Kia also said that 32 percent of the crescent customers have opted for automatic and IMT variants of MPV. Among the Kia Cares buyers, 95 percent of consumers bought a seven-seater version.
