Filmmaker Karan Johar caught the internet’s attention when he wore a ‘Nepo Baby’ T-shirt during a recent outing. Interior designer Gauri Khan and television personality Malaika Arora stepped out with Karan for dinner with their friends. Karan, Gauri, Malaika go out for dinner
In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, they all stepped out of a restaurant in Mumbai. In this get together, Gauri was seen in a golden dress and matching blazer. Malaika Arora chose a long red bodycon dress.
Karan wears ‘Nepo Baby’ T-shirt
Karan wore a full-sleeved white T-shirt that read, “Napo Baby.” He paired it with black trousers and sneakers. Commenting on the video, one fan said: “Finally wearing my Napo Baby shirt proudly.” One person wrote, “Lol, KJo’s top is really on point Han (yes). He’s proud to have a new baby.” One comment read, “I think Nepo baby and proud.” “She has lost a lot of weight,” one Instagram user commented.
In January 2023, Hailey Bieber stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a ‘Napo Baby’ T-shirt. She paired a white cropped T-shirt with denims. An Instagram account shared the photo and Alia Bhatt ‘liked’ it.
Karan also did ramp walk in Mumbai event
Earlier, Karan walked the runway with Sidharth Malhotra at the fifth edition of Ajio Luxe Wkend in Mumbai. Karan wore an all-white outfit – a satin shirt, trousers and a blazer trench. Her look was accessorized with a diamond necklace and emerald brooch.
Sidharth opted for a satin blue blazer, which he paired with trousers. Farah Khan also walked the ramp in a red pair. Those present included Malaika, Kunal Rawal and Varun Sood.
About Karan’s project
Karan is expected to direct an untitled series for Netflix India. Production is expected to start soon. His last directorial venture was the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Since then, he has produced other films including Kill, Yoddha, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and Jigra.
He will also create ‘You are mine, I am yours, I am yours and you are mine’. Directed by Sameer Vidwan, the film will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film starring Kartik Aryan will be released in theaters worldwide in 2026.
