What’s more, you don’t need any expensive equipment or instruction to take the first steps. You will be surprised to know that just 30 minutes of exercise per day can improve cardiovascular fitness, bone strength, reduce excess body fat and increase muscle strength and endurance. It may also reduce the chance of developing problems including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and some fatal diseases.

“Walking is an excellent way to maintain your overall health,” said Dr. Ravi Prakash.
