On Saturday, Jump Festa 2025 opened the doors to the beloved fan convention experience with a highly coveted announcement involving the future of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime. Confirming the continuation of the highly sought-after Supernatural TV adaptation, the super stage dedicated to JJK unveiled a “Super Teaser Visual” of the upcoming Kalinga Game Arc.
But not only this. JJK fans are in for another treat as the Hidden Inventory Premature Death Arc compilation film has been confirmed with its Japanese theatrical release date.

The Jujutsu Kaisen platform successfully launched Jump Festa Hungama on Saturday, December 21 at 10:30am JST. Although previously confirmed to welcome viewers, Megumi Fushiguro’s voice actress Yuma Uchida’s appearance on the program was canceled due to health reasons.

As clearly depicted in the teaser image of the anime film, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc – adapted in season 2 – follows then-young friends Satoru Gojo and Suguru Getō at school. The same season also brought to life the infamous Shibuya Incident arc of the original manga.
Although MAPPA will continue to support the anime in production, more information about the Culling Game sequel has yet to come. It remains to be seen whether the following arc adaptation will be developed into a full episodic season or another movie.

The second season of the MAPPA-produced anime returned in July 2023, with the action concluding months later in December. Shortly after the JJK season 2 finale aired, the official channels announced that the series would continue the dark fantasy events with the Kalinga Game arc. The release date, staff-cast additions or modifications are still a mystery.
Based on the best-selling manga series by Gege Akutami, both seasons of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime are streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix.

According to reliable online anime sources, the English translation of the mangaka’s comments from the Japan festival read, “Thank you for reading Jujutsu Kaisen! It was only thanks to you that I was somehow able to reach the end. For those who only Check out the anime, don’t worry – there’s still more to come.
“The anime director is a talented director. Every time I check the storyboard, I think, ‘So my manga could actually be incredibly interesting!’ For a low-esteem person like me, this is really an amazing feeling.
“I’m sure his talent goes beyond Jujutsu Kaisen. And I’m glad I was able to hand over the project to him, and I hope we get the opportunity to share something special with you again in the future.
The panel also confirmed that the JJK manga final volume will feature a new 16-page epilogue with the stories of four characters: Yuko Ozawa, Panda, Nobara Kugisaki, and Uraume.
Later today, Super Red Stage, which embraced JJK officials, will also release updates for Rurouni Kenshin, Spy X Family, and Dragon Ball.
