According to DCP Usha Ranganani of IGI Airport, Abbas, a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, had left for Jordan from IGI Airport on 13 September 2024. As soon as he came out of Jordan Airport, he met another person equally involved in the conspiracy. This person first took Abbas’s passport into his possession.

Bad times started as soon as I stepped into Delhi
Then after this, he took her with him. After reaching Jordan, Abbas waited every moment for when he would be asked to proceed towards his next destination. About ten days passed, but nothing happened. On the 11th day, a call reached Abbas, in which he was ordered to return to Delhi.
A return ticket for Abbas also came with the order. Hence, he reached IGI Airport on 24 September 2024 by Air Arabia flight G9-463 coming to Delhi. Till now everything was fine, but as soon as Abbas stepped into IGI Airport, bad times had started, which started from the immigration counter.

Abbas made many new revelations during interrogation
In fact, during the passport check, the immigration officer found that some other person had already returned to India on the same passport. This person had traveled on Etihad Airways flight EY 224 from Abu Dhabi to Delhi on 14 November. After this, no departure entry for going abroad was recorded on this passport.
After this revelation, the Bureau of Immigration took Abbas into custody and handed him over to the IGI Airport Police. At the same time, IGI Airport has registered a case against Abbas under section 319(2)/318(4)/61(2) of the Indian Justice Code and he has been arrested. He has made many new revelations during the interrogation that took place after his arrest.
