Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) celebrated the New Year on the eve of New Year by releasing 212 job vacancies for the post of Superintendent and Junior Assistant. The application window opens today and will close by January 31. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of last date of registration.

Eligibility and Qualification

For the post of Superintendent, the age of the candidate should be maximum 30 years. The eligibility requirement is to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Furthermore, the applicant must have working knowledge of computer applications Like Windows, MS-Office, handling large databases, Internet, etc.

Recruitment for this post offering pay level-6 will be done on the basis of merit in all three rounds. Tier 1 will consist of MCQ based preliminary screening examination while Tier 2 will consist of objective type (OMR based) and descriptive type Written main examination.

Third will be typing speed qualifying round where the candidate should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. Meanwhile, age relaxation beyond the upper age limit is allowed for specific categories.

For the post of Junior Assistant providing Pay Level-2, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 27 years. Qualification requirement: 12th class or equivalent certificate from a recognized Board or University. preliminary screening test It will be MCQ based followed by typing speed requirement which is qualifying in nature.

The notice dated December 31, inviting direct recruitment on the basis of “All India Competitive Examination”, said, “The selected candidates will be posted in any of the offices of the Board i.e. Regional Office, Center of Excellence/ACCPD Rae Bareli.”

It said, “At present, the regional offices are located at Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Dubai, Guwahati, Noida, Patna, Panchkula, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada and ACCPD Rabare “

It is noteworthy that the interested candidates appearing in the final year or whose final examination results are awaited will not be considered eligible applicants.
