Jiohotstar: What will be the money again to Geosinem and Hotstar users?

JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar have been merged and the new Jiohotstar app has been launched. The subscription of existing users will not be affected. The new plans will start from Rs 149.

New Delhi. There has been a big change in the world of digital entertainment in India. The merger of Geocinema and Disney+ Hotstar is now officially completed and the new geohotstar app has become live. Now users across the country will get the content of both platforms in one place. After the merger of both the apps, now the question is arising that what will be the effect on the current subscription of users already using these platforms and what will be the option for new users?

If you are already subscribers of disney+ hotstar or jiocinema, then there is no need to panic. If you have already taken the subscription of Hotstar and it is valid till April 2025, then it will continue without any change. That is, you can see the geiotstar app without interruption. The existing subscribers will be automatically transmitted on the new platform. If you are using JioCinema’s plan of Rs 29 per month, then you will get 3 months free extension. That is, your current plan will not have any effect, but some users will also get the benefit of free extension.

Jiohotstar plan
New plans of Jiohotstar have also been launched, which have been prepared according to the needs of users. Plan of Rs 149-This will be a mobile-only subscription for 3 months, in which advertisements will be shown. Plan of Rs 499-This will be a mobile-only subscription with a validity of 12 months, in which advertisements will be held. Soon, more new plans can be introduced, which may include multi-device access and ad-free experience.

How to take jiohotstar subscription
If you are a new user and want to get a subscription to Jiohotstar, then the plan will start from Rs 149 for you too. New users will have to pay immediately, while old users can upgrade it after the end of their current plan.

In Jiohotstar, more advanced experiences will be offered to users. This platform will get features like 4K streaming, multi-device support, and better user interfaces. In Jio-Hotterstar, users will get to see content of different genres in 10 Indian language. This includes movies, shows, anime, documentary, live sports and other programs. Jio Hotstar has partnered with Disney, NBSUVIV Peacock, Warner Brothers, Discovery HBO, and Paramount for International Content.
