Jeen Mata Mandir Ropeway will remain closed, check the date before leaving home, otherwise you will face trouble

Sikar. The ropeway of Rajasthan’s famous Shaktipeeth Jeen Mata temple is being closed for a few days. The ropeway will remain closed for maintenance and necessary repair work. It will be restarted as soon as the maintenance work is completed. It is being closed for 7 days. Thousands of devotees reach Kajal Peak daily through this ropeway.

It started in Jeen Mata fair
Managing Director of the ropeway operating company, Nitesh Chaudhary, said that the ropeway built in the Jeen Mata Mandir area was inaugurated on 10 April last month during the fair. This ropeway is the first ropeway in the Shekhawati region which has been started for the devotees of Maa Jeen Bhavani. Every day hundreds of passengers come to visit the Kajal Shikhar Mandir situated on the hill by sitting in the ropeway.

This ropeway has been built at a cost of about 8 crores to take people from Jeen Mataji temple to Kajal peak. The fare for travelling in the ropeway is Rs 70 for children and Rs 120 for adults. One trolley has the capacity to seat 6 people. 18 people at a time in three trolleys can cover the 3-hour journey in 4 minutes.

3 hour journey in 4 minutes
It used to take more than 3 hours for the devotees to reach Kajal Shikhar from the temple premises. But after the construction of the ropeway, devotees reach Kajal Shikhar temple in just 4 minutes. This ropeway is the second ropeway in Rajasthan after Veer Hanuman Samod temple and the first ropeway in Shekhawati.
