NTA will soon release the JEE Main Session 2 exam city slip on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Once released, candidates will get information about the exam center through city slip
JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held in April. This year, more than 11 lakh students had applied for the session 1 exam, while for the JEE Main session 2 exam, around 12 lakh have registered. It will be conducted by NTA or National Testing Agency. The agency will soon release the JEE Main Session 2 exam city slip on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Once released, candidates will get information about JEE Main exam center through city slip. With this, they can plan their journey by booking tickets in advance if needed.
NTA has made the schedule of JEE Main Session 2 keeping in mind the 12th board exam. Due to clash with CBSE Board Exam 2024, the dates of session 2 were changed earlier. It will be conducted in two shifts between April 4 and April 15, 2024. The first shift exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon. Whereas, the second shift examination will be conducted between 3 pm to 6 pm.
Students preparing for JEE Main should know the difference between exam city slip and admit card. Exam city slip is issued only for information of exam city. It cannot be used as an admit card. JEE Main Admit Card 2024 will be released a few days before the exam. Without admit card, entry inside the examination center will not be allowed.

Qualifying JEE Main exam is necessary for admission to engineering institutes like IIIT, NIT etc. Those who rank in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. The registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is scheduled to begin on April 30 and the exam is scheduled to be held on June 4.
