Ipsit Mittal aims to top JEE Advanced.
Ipsit Mittal revealed that he started preparing for JEE exam when he was in class 10th.
JEE Main Session 2 result was declared yesterday on April 25, 2024. As per reports, more than 9 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Among these, Ipsit Mittal from Delhi has secured 100 percentile in the examination. In this exclusive interview, the candidate details his tips for preparing for the exam.
Ipsit lives in Dilshad Garden in East Delhi area. He completed his education from Amity International School, Mayur Vihar. He is the son of Aditya Mittal, a businessman, and his mother, Surbhi Mittal, is a writer.
Speaking to Local18, Ipsit revealed that he credits his father and uncle for his success in the JEE Main Session 2 exam. He said that his uncle always inspired him.
Ipsit further told that he started preparing for JEE Main exam when he was in 10th class. For preparation, he enrolled in FIITJEE Coaching Institute. According to him, self-study along with a good teacher is the key to success. A good teacher is more important than coaching, Ipsitt said. “You have to work hard and dedicate 14 to 15 hours a day for preparation,” Topper said.
He stressed that one should not put pressure on oneself and should keep one’s mind fresh. Giving examples of his strategy, he said that he keeps himself stress-free by reading some fiction as well as indulging in sports and other physical activities. However, these engagements have decreased since grade 12, Ipsitt said.
His family wanted him to become a doctor, but he always showed interest in mathematics and engineering. So, he followed his heart and became a topper by scoring 100 per cent in JEE Main Session 2. Talking about his next goal, he revealed that now he aims to top the JEE Advanced exam.
