The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has begun the application process for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 today, June 9. Candidates willing to apply for the JEE Advanced AAT 2024 can do so by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can apply till June 10 at 5 pm. Only candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced are eligible to appear for the AAT.
The AAT will be conducted on June 12 in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the result will be declared on June 14 at 5 pm. The Architecture Aptitude Test is a mandatory entrance exam for students seeking admission to BArch courses at IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU and IIT Roorkee. Apart from clearing the AAT, performance in class 12 (or equivalent) board exams will continue to be the criteria for admission to BArch courses.
JEE Advanced AAT 2024: Steps to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in
Step 2: Once the link is activated, find the registration link for JEE Advanced AAT 2024 and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your registration details and date of birth to log in.
Step 4: Then fill the JEE Advanced AAT 2024 application form as per the instructions.
Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Double-check the details and submit the AAT 2024 form.
Step 7: Download the acknowledgement form and take a printout of it for further use.

Out of the total 1,80,200 candidates who appeared in both Paper 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2024, 48,248 passed it139180 male candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 40284 passed and 41020 female students appeared in the IIT entrance exam, out of which 7964 passed. A total of 1,80,372 applicants appeared in IIT-JEE Advanced 2023 this year, out of which 43773 passed. Rank 1 was secured by Ved Lahoti (355 marks), Rank 2 by Aditya (346 marks), Rank 3 by Bhoglapalli Sandesh (338 marks), Rank 4 by Rhythm Kedia (337 marks) and Rank 5 by Putty Kushal Kumar (334 marks).
