JEE Advanced 2024 AAT Registration: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has opened the registration window for JEE Advanced 2024 Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) at jeeadv.ac.in. As per the notification, the institute will end the online registration process on June 10 at 5 pm. JEE Advanced 2024 AAT will be held on June 12 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Candidates who wish to join the B.Arch (Architecture) programme – which is available only at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee – will have to clear the JEE Advanced 2024 AAT exam.

As per the notification, only those candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2024 are eligible to appear in AAT 2024.

- A new window will open; Enter JEE Advanced registration number, date of birth and mobile number

JEE Advanced AAT 2024: Admit Card
No separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The downloaded JEE Advanced 2024 admit card must be printed and presented along with the original photo identity card at the AAT exam hall.

JEE Advanced AAT 2024: Exam Centres
JEE Advanced AAT 2024 exam will be conducted in only seven IITs. These centers are IIT-Bombay, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Guwahati, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Bhubaneswar, IIT-Madras and IIT-Roorkee
The exam will consist of one three-hour paper. The question paper for AAT will be available in English only.
JEE Advanced AAT 2024: Syllabus
Freehand illustration
This would include simple drawing of the whole object to a proper scale showing its correct form and proportions, surface texture, relative positions and details of its component parts. Drawing from memory common household or day-to-day objects such as furniture, appliances, etc.
Geometrical sketch
Practice of geometrical drawing involving lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side view) of simple solid objects like prism, cone, cylinder, cube, stretched surface holders etc.
Three-dimensional perception
Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualisation through structuring of objects in memory.
Imagination and aesthetic sensibility
Composition exercises with given elements. Context mapping. Checking creativity through innovative unusual experiments with familiar objects. Understanding of colour grouping or application.
Architectural Awareness
General interest and awareness of famous architectural masterpieces – both national and international, the associated places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.).
Candidates must note that they will have to bring drawing and colouring aids with them. The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2024 will decide the cut-off marks for passing the AAT. The AAT results will be declared on June 15 on the JEE Advanced 2024 online portal.
Candidates securing marks above the cut-off will be declared as having passed the exam. There will be no separate ranking in AAT. The allotment of seats will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in JEE Advanced 2024 and the B.Arch programme will be offered only to those candidates who are declared as having passed in AAT.
