Prohibited Area

When asked what’s the one thing she would never do for a role, Kapoor revealed that she wouldn’t go bald, even if it was a life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Janhvi said, “They can just put a bald cap on it or use VFX. I have dislocated my shoulder, bled, broken bones, put myself through all kinds of trauma and torture, but going bald is something I refuse to do.”

“Even for my role in Ulaj, Sudhanshu wanted me to cut my hair short and that was my biggest fight with him,” the actor said.

He recalled an incident when his mother scolded him for cutting his hair short.

“Because I remember when I cut my hair during Dhadak, my mother yelled at me and said, ‘How can you do that? Don’t cut your hair for any role.’ Every third or fourth day, she would oil my hair and massage my head. She was very proud of my hair. So I wouldn’t cut my hair,” the actor said.

In the film, Janhvi plays Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Suhana. As per the cinematic narrative, Janhvi plays the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, a character who is tasked with efficiently conducting a challenging mission at the London embassy. Her role will tackle the issue of nepotism while defying social expectations and stereotypes. Actor Gulshan Devaiah also plays an undercover agent in the film.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the hidden truth and events of betrayal, hinting at the existence of an internal leak that endangers the lives of the secret agents and pushes Suhana into a desperate struggle for survival. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film will release on August 2.
