On the evening of 22 January, a group of persons attempted to hold a protest on the campus of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. Upon receiving the information, the university administration immediately intervened and removed all the participants from the campus.
The university said in an official statement, “Yesterday there were 2-3 students who raised slogans and displayed placards. When we got information, the students were removed from there. The university is investigating the matter further.”
Earlier, police personnel were deployed outside Jamia Millia Islamia after a video circulated online on Monday, which showed two to three students raising slogans like “strike for Babri”. PTI informed of.

In the viral video, a man is seen raising slogans of “Allahu Akbar”, “Strike for Babri”, and “Down with RSS”.
