Saurav Kumar, a student from Palamu district (Jharkhand), has proved the saying ‘Work hard in silence, let success make noise’ right. Recently, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the results of Intermediate i.e. Class 12th examinations. Saurav, a student of Commerce Faculty of Manav Devi Dedicated Inter College, secured the highest rank in the district. He scored 454 marks. He considers his mother’s support important behind his success. 18 year old girl lives in Medininagar Prabhadevi. Speaking to Local18, Sourav revealed that his father died of a heart attack four years ago, adding to the financial turmoil in his life. His mother left no stone unturned to educate him by enrolling him in an NGO. Reflecting on his achievement, Saurav said that he was very happy to know that he stood first in the entire district with Commerce. Saurav Kumar told that both he and his mother are very happy with this news.
Saurav also expressed his desire to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). He attributed the second reason behind his success to his college principal. Saurav said that he constantly inspired and motivated him to achieve excellence. He mentioned instances where he provided personal guidance during stressful times. Looking ahead, Sourav is preparing for his first CA exam to be held in June.
Saurav stressed the importance of self-study and called it the key to success. He revealed that he spent a lot of time studying at home, completing assignments from both college and tuition classes. Saurav used to devote 8 to 10 hours daily to his studies. He also highlighted the challenge of distractions and suggested giving priority to studies. Saurav urged the students to believe in themselves and study thoroughly.
“Teachers often recognize the talent of children,” said Shweta, principal of Saurav Kumar’s college. He stressed the importance of recognizing the potential of students, using Saurav as a prime example. Shweta acknowledged the obstacles students face in their educational path and emphasized the important role of teachers in providing encouragement and support. In the dedicated academy, students benefit from individual attention and regular practice of model questions.
