Itel A80 Launch: If you like budget phones then you now have another option. Itel has launched its budget friendly handset itel A80 in India. The device sports a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a dynamic bar that shows live alerts, which is a common feature across all itel smartphones. The phone is 8.54mm thick, has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, is IP54-rated for water resistance and is released in three colors – Glacier White, Wave Blue and Sandstone Black.
itel A80 has Unisoc T603 octa-core processor, which is paired with 8 GB RAM (4 GB built-in plus 4 GB RAM expansion) and 128 GB internal storage. It has 3-card slots. That means users can expand memory up to 2 TB through this. The company claims that it will provide smooth performance for three years.

Camera setup and battery are amazing
The camera setup of the phone is also strong. The phone has a 50MP rear camera with flash and ring light notification. An 8MP front camera has been provided for selfie and video calling. The device has a 5000mAh battery with Type-C charging. The company says that once the phone is fully charged, it lasts comfortably for three hours. Even if you use the phone very heavily, it lasts for 1-2 days. Its battery life is said to be more than four years.
Price and availability
The phone runs on itel OS 14 based on Android 14 Go. The device offers features like Landscape Display Clock Widget for charging in landscape mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode to extend battery life and Smart Link+ for better signal stability. This reduces network latency by 20%. itel A80 is priced at Rs 6,999 and can be purchased from offline retail stores in India with a free screen replacement offer within 100 days. Online availability is yet to be announced.
