In such a situation, if any case is found, his problems may increase. Therefore, to run AC in homes, at least 3 kilo watt meter should be installed.
At present there are about 2 lakh 77 thousand consumers having electricity connections in the district. In this, most of the electricity connections are of 2 kilowatt or less. In such a situation, it is necessary for an AC to have a power meter of about 3 kilowatts. At the same time, to run more than 2 ACs, a 5 kW meter is required.
Special campaign will run
In view of the heat from the electricity department, the problems of electricity theft, overloading and faults increase. For this reason, there will be special attention on all those consumers who use AC. Their meters will be checked whether their meters are as per the standard or not. The special reason for this campaign is that the problem of electricity increases with the onset of summer. And the city residents have to worry about electricity.

Executive Engineer Magan Singh said that teams were deployed in all the electricity departments of the district. Where AC is installed, the meter should be checked and appropriate action should be taken if there is not sufficient load. Therefore all electricity consumers have been informed. If AC is installed then increase the load of your electricity meter as per the standard. Otherwise, along with fine, legal action will also be taken.
