New Delhi. The new year has begun and with it comes a new beginning for your online security. Cyber security experts have issued a warning to users who use weak passwords. Because with this you easily become the target of hackers. NordPass has released an annual report regarding this, in which it is told which are the most used passwords in India and many of these are such that they can be broken in just a few seconds.
To reach this conclusion, NordPass reviewed a huge 2.5TB database available publicly, including on the dark web, and then classified it by country. Most of the passwords used by NordPass included passwords that were either stolen through malware or exposed in a data breach.

This password is the worst
“123456” has once again won the title of ‘world’s worst password’. This password has topped the charts as the most common password 5 out of 6 times. How to create a strong password
1. Password should have complexity. That means, enter alphabet, special characters and numbers in it.
2. Always make the password long. With at least 10 marks.
3. Do not enter any password in sequence. Do not enter passwords like 12345… or asdfgh or abcde.
4. Don’t use common words and phrases.
5. Do not enter personal information like name, address, mobile number, email etc. in the password.
6. Do not use the same password for every account.
