Now India’s eminent female tennis player has again attracted the attention of social media due to rumors of her marriage with Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami. Recently, Sania Mirza’s father Imran has dismissed these rumors.

Sania Mirza’s father’s comments have made it clear that Sania Mirza’s marriage with Mohammed Shami is just speculation by social media users. Earlier this year, Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik got divorced. Meanwhile, Shami separated from his wife Hasin Jahan. This similarity between the two is perhaps fueling the rumours which Imran has termed as “nonsense”.
The six-time Grand Slam champion recently embarked on her spiritual journey for Hajj. The sports star had announced her separation from husband Shoaib Malik. Sania Mirza announced her retirement from professional tennis a year ago. However, she continues to attend international sporting events as an expert. Recently, she was spotted at the prestigious French Open.
In her recent social media post, Sania Mirza shared the news of her Hajj pilgrimage and apologised for her “wrongdoings” and expressed gratitude for her life.
