Kangana will be next seen in Emergency.

Kangana contested on a BJP ticket and recently won the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Mandi constituency. She will soon be seen in the film Emergency.

Kangana clarified the situation

Lately, the actress has been spending a lot of her time doing politics-related work, which has left fans wondering if she is quitting the film world. The actress spoke about the buzz at the trailer launch of her new film Emergency.

“Whether I will continue acting, I think that is a question I want people to decide. For example, I never said I want to be a leader. People should say you should be a leader. Whether a party conducts a survey or whatever the criteria is to give you a ticket, it is people’s choice that I should contest elections. Now, tomorrow if the emergency works and if they want to see more of me, if I feel I can succeed, I will continue,” Kangana said.

“Otherwise, if I feel I have had more success in politics and I am needed there more… we go where we feel needed, respected and valued. I will let life decide for me. I have no plans that I will go here or there. I am fine anywhere where I am needed or whatever is needed,” she said.

BJP candidate Kangana won the Mandi Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 74,755 votes against her Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh. A day after the victory, she was slapped by a CISF officer at the Chandigarh airport. After the incident, she also released a video in which she assured her followers that she was safe and had not been harmed.
