Winter has come… maybe it is coming again? Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and DB Weiss recently broke their silence on the possibility of a Jon Snow spin-off series, leaving us eager for more adventures beyond the Wall. The epic HBO saga ran for eight seasons from 2011 to 2019. It had many characters, and one of the main characters was Kit Harington’s Jon Snow. John initially tries to run away from his past. Game of Thrones producers address Jon Snow sequel rumors
Following the conclusion of Game of Thrones, HBO is working to expand its fantasy realm with House of the Dragon along with a few other Game of Thrones spinoffs in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the director duo is all set to deliver another much-awaited project – 3 Body Problems, which will soon premiere on Netflix.
The Hollywood Reporter recently interviewed David Benioff and Dan Weiss and asked about a possible spin-off centered around Jon Snow, which was initially said to be in the works at HBO but has been delayed. In response, Weiss said, “Nothing would make us happier than to work with our people from that show. But there are many other ways to do this that are fresh and exciting for everyone involved.

He further added, “Furthermore, unless [Kit Harington] “I’ve been working out a lot, that’s a very heavy cloak for a 40-year-old to carry around – it’s like 60 pounds.”
David said, “Maybe if we’d waited longer, like in the late Hustler sequel The Color of Money – that would have been a good sequel.”
Jon Snow is on the cards but probably not yet. Weiss suggested that perhaps when he and Kit Harington are both much older, around 80, there might be an opportunity for Kit to reprise the role of Jon Snow, complete with authentic gray in his beard. it occurs.
Is a Jon Snow spinoff in the works?
The Jon Snow spinoff overtook the immediate buzz surrounding House of Dragons and the ordered Dunk & Egg series. For now, House of Dragons Season 2 reigns as the only confirmed GOT spinoff. Oversaturation concerns could simultaneously reduce HBO’s appetite for further GoT projects.
On the other hand, the reason for the delay in the Jon Snow spinoff could also be Kit Harington’s busy schedule. Since the conclusion of Game of Thrones, the actor has taken on major roles, including the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals.
