Former DGM of Indian Meteorological Department K. J. Ramesh It is said that if there is a tar road which absorbs heat, then it should be assumed that the temperature of that road will be about 7-10 degrees higher than the weather temperature. Because radiation and heat also come out from that road. For example, if the weather temperature is 47 degrees Celsius, then the temperature of that road will be up to 55-56 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, if you walk barefoot on it, then your feet will definitely burn. They will get blisters.

Similarly, if your roof is a tin roof, then its temperature will be 5-6 degrees higher than RCC and the heat will be felt more. If you keep papad on that tin roof, then the papad will definitely get cooked. On the other hand, if we talk about sand in Rajasthan, then the temperature there is higher than other areas of India, the upper layer of dry sand there is very hot. If papad is kept in it, then it can also get cooked to some extent.

DGM says that however, as far as frying puris by placing a pan in the sun on the roof is concerned, these are all artificial videos. It is difficult to believe videos like boiling oil at 50 degree temperature and frying puris in it to be true. These could be videos made with exaggeration.

However, the temperature is around 50 at this time and people should avoid going out during this time. Especially go out as little as possible between 11 am and 4 pm. People working in the open need to be especially cautious to avoid heat stroke or heat related diseases. However, the temperature will not increase further now and soon it will fall a little due to western disturbance but the heat will remain.
