Aadhaar Housing Finance Company provides housing loans to low income people. Investors will be able to invest money in Aadhaar Housing Finance IPO till May 10. Aadhar Housing Finance Limited was established in the year 2010.
New Delhi. The IPO of Aadhar Housing Finance Limited, a company providing housing loans to low-income people, will open on May 8. The company wants to raise Rs 3,000 crore through this. In this IPO, the company will issue new shares worth ₹ 1,000 crore, while through Offer for Sale i.e. OFS, the company will raise ₹ 2,000 crore by selling 6.35 crore shares. Shares worth Rs 2,000 crore will be sold by promoter BCP Topco. BCP Topco Pte is a fund managed by affiliates of the Blackstone Group. It holds 98.72 percent stake in Aadhar Housing Finance.
Retail investors will be able to invest money in Aadhaar Housing Finance IPO from May 98. This public issue will remain open till May 10. On May 15, the company’s shares will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The company has fixed the price band of this IPO at ₹300 to ₹315 per share. Unlisted shares of Aadhar Housing Finance are trading at a premium in the gray market.

You will have to invest at least ₹14,805
There are 47 shares in one lot of Aadhar Housing Finance IPO. According to the upper price band of IPO of ₹ 315, if a retail investor applies for 1 lot, then he will have to invest at least ₹ 14,805. Retail investors can bid for a maximum of 13 lots, i.e. 611 shares, for which they will have to invest ₹ 199,892.
35 percent share reserved for retail investors
A maximum of 50 percent of the company’s IPO is reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB). Apart from this, 35 percent share is reserved for retail investors and the remaining 15 percent share is reserved for non-institutional investors (NII).
Aadhaar Housing Finance IPO GMP
According to IPOWatch, a gray market tracking website, unlisted shares of Aadhar Housing Finance IPO are trading at a premium of Rs 130 in the gray market. This means that if we look at the upper price band, the share price of Aadhar Housing can be Rs 445 per share in the market. But, here it must be kept in mind that it is not necessary that if the shares of an IPO are trading at a premium in the gray market, then its listing should also be at a premium. The opposite may also happen.
