Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has extended the last date for online applications for all its programs from March 31 to April 10, an official statement said on Thursday. It said that in view of the ongoing Class 12 board examination, the deadline for submitting online applications has been extended. Students can now apply for all programs of the university, including programs seeking admission through national level tests, programs based on entrance examinations conducted by the university and merit-based programs till April 10.
“Since the board examinations for Class 12 students are still going on, the last date for submission of forms for the university has been extended,” the statement said. It added that the university is also accepting Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to some of its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. However, the university will give preference to state level Common Entrance Test (CET) score over CUET score in admission. Keeping this in mind, CUET applicants are advised to also apply for the university’s CET for better chances of admission, the statement said.
