Many pictures and videos of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s mehendi ceremony have surfaced on social media. Amit Trivedi performed at the event.
Ahead of their wedding on July 12, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant celebrated their mehendi ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday. The occasion was full of tradition as Mukesh Ambani along with son Anant Ambani performed a grand Shiv Shakti Puja at the Ambani home Antilia in Mumbai, where a huge jyotirlinga was installed. Several pictures and videos of the pre-wedding celebrations were shared on social media, which featured a huge Shiv Jyotirlinga idol placed inside. Amit Trivedi was seen singing his hit track ‘Namo Namo’ at the venue, while Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani attended the Shiv Shakti Puja in front of guests and the rest of the family.
Meanwhile, a video of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant also surfaced in which they were seen smiling and posing for pictures with a priest.
Bollywood stars attended Ambani’s Mehndi ceremony
The haldi ceremony took place a day after the wedding, in which many Bollywood stars were seen drenched in haldi. Many stars were also present at the mehndi ceremony, including Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Sanjay Dutt and Ranveer Singh. Apart from Amit Trivedi, Kailash Kher also performed at the event. The Ambani family also organized a Bhandara along with the mehndi ceremony.
On July 3, the Ambani family hosted the Mameru ceremony, a Gujarati wedding tradition in which the bride’s maternal uncle visits her home with sweets and gifts. This year they hosted a number of pre-wedding events, including a star-studded party in Jamnagar followed by a luxurious cruise ride in Italy. Justin Bieber performed at the music festival, while Rihanna attended the Jamnagar ceremony and performed there.
Anant and Radhika’s wedding will take place on July 12 as per traditional Hindu Vedic rituals. The auspicious wedding ceremony will be attended by guests from across the world. The celebrations will continue with Shubh Ashirwad and Mangal Utsav on July 13 and July 14.
