Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras released the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on 9 June. Ved Lahoti has topped the exam by scoring 355 out of 360 marks. Along with the release of the results, the list of toppers has also been released by IIT Madras. In this, Manya Jain of Indore has also got All India Rank 75.
According to reports, Manya’s father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. Recently, while talking to the media, Manya told that she had a passion to do something from a young age. This is the reason why she gave up everything from mobile to social life. Even while living in Indore, he stayed in a hostel and kept himself away from his family. He used to meet his family only on Sundays.
He further told that he has sacrificed many things, due to which he has got good results. He told that he was determined to crack JEE Advanced. So he worked hard. Along with studies, Manya likes to play mobile and watch movies. He is also a master of chess. Whenever negative thoughts came to his mind, he started meditating. This gave him confidence. Therefore, according to him, one should meditate every day to stay positive and healthy. It also helps in focusing and concentrating.
Talking about his study technique, he said that he used to study the subject by targeting it and always solved test papers. He used to give a lot of tests before his final exam. Mathematics is his favourite subject, but he had to focus more on chemistry as he was a little weak in this subject. It was difficult for him to complete the chemistry syllabus. Now Manya will study Computer Science (CS) in IIT.
The IIT entrance exam was conducted on May 26, 2024, in two shifts at several centres across the country. The answer key was released on June 2. Only the top 2.5 lakh students in JEE Main 2024 get a chance to appear for JEE Advanced.
