New Delhi. The demand for two-wheelers is increasing rapidly in the Indian market. In the month of October, two-wheeler sales figures were again in favor of Hero MotoCorp, which once again captured the top position. Hero MotoCorp sold 5,76,532 units of two-wheelers in October 2024, whereas last year in October 2023 this figure was 4,18,672 units.
In this way, an increase of 37.70 percent was recorded in the company’s sales on an annual basis. With this, Hero has captured 27.92 percent market share in the Indian two-wheeler market. Come, let us know the complete sales situation of top 10 two-wheeler companies in October.
Honda in second place
Honda stood second in terms of sales. Honda sold a total of 5,54,249 units of two-wheelers in October 2024 with an annual increase of 37.32 percent. TVS stood at the third position, which sold 3,51,950 units of two-wheelers with an annual increase of 39.46 percent.
Bajaj achieved fourth position by selling 2,33,254 units of two-wheelers with a growth of 28.41 percent. Suzuki stood at fifth position by selling 1,06,362 units of two-wheelers with a growth of 32.49 percent.
Royal Enfield and Yamaha sales
Royal Enfield sold a total of 95,113 units with an increase of 36.12 percent, placing it at sixth position. At the same time, Yamaha achieved seventh position by selling 68,153 units with an increase of 22.80 percent.
Big jump in Ola sales
Electric scooter maker Ola sold 41,651 units with a growth of 74.33 percent and stood at eighth position. Ather took the ninth position with 15,993 units, while Java took the tenth position with 4,180 units sold.
Sales figures for October 2024 show that the demand for two-wheelers is continuously increasing in the Indian market, in which Hero MotoCorp is maintaining its strong hold.
