IAT 2025: Online registration process will start on 5 March at IISRADMISISION.IN.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERS) will conduct the IISER Aptitude Test on 25 May, or IAT 2025. The online registration process will begin on 5 March at IISERADMISISION.IN.

IAT 2025 will be conducted as computer-based tests across India across India. The test will have 60 questions, every biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics 15.

The total duration of the examination will be 180 minutes. Questions will be multi-love, with only one correct answer per question.

Each question will take four marks with a negative marking (-1) for the wrong answer. The total marks in the examination will be 240.

Examination is for admission to five years BS-MS course in IISERS, four years BSIN Economic Science Course in IISER Bhopal, four years in Economic and Statistical Sciences in IISER Tirupati. And engineering, and electrical engineering and computer science courses at IISER Bhopal.

IISER IAT 2025: General Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should pass the Class 8 (or equivalent) examination from any board recognized by the Council of School Education (COBSE) Council in India.
  • Foreign nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by Indian universities (AIU) unless they do not pass class 12 or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of School Education (COBSE) in India Let’s do it.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. SC, ST and PWD candidates will be given a discount of five years. There is no restriction based on the full year of class 12.
  • Candidates must have taken at least three subjects between biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
  • SC, ST and PWD candidates require 55 percent or more marks in the total or equivalent grade in their class 12 (or equivalent) examination. Candidates of other categories require at least 60 percent marks in total or equivalent grades.
