Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has once again extended the last date for registration for admission in July 2024. Now the last date to apply has been fixed as 10 September 2024. The notice on the official website said, “The last date for fresh admissions in respect of all programmes (except Semester Based and Certificate Programmes) offered in ODL/Online mode for July, 2024 session has been extended up to September 10, 2024.”

IGNOU July Admission 2024: Documents Required
While applying for Online or ODL programmes, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the below mentioned documents:
— Scanned copy of photo
— Scanned copy of signature
— Educational Qualification Certificate
— Category certificate (if any)
IGNOU July Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
— For UG admission in IGNOU, the student must have passed class 12 with minimum 50 percent marks from any recognised educational board.
— For postgraduate or PG courses, candidates must have a graduation degree in relevant stream with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognised university
— To apply for Diploma or Certificate courses, students must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.
— Admission will be done on the basis of merit list in all the courses except Ph.D., B.Ed., and PBSCN.
IGNOU July Admission 2024: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the ‘July Admissions 2024’ tab and click on it.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page containing online and ODL programme links.
Step 4: Choose your preferred program, fill the application form and submit all the required documents.
Step 5: Submit the application fee and you are done.
Step 6: Download the application form and take its printout on A-4 size paper for future reference.
IGNOU July Admission 2024: Application Fee
All candidates applying for any UG, PG or Diploma programme at IGNOU need to deposit a registration fee of Rs 300. The official notice by IGNOU states, “In case of receipt of a cancellation request after confirmation of admission, an amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs 2,000, will be deducted from the fee paid.”
