IGNOU Admission 2025: Candidates can apply for online and ODL by March 31, 2025.

Ignou entry 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the time limit for admission to her online distance learning and online programs by 31 March 2025, except for certificates and semester-based courses. Interested candidates can now apply for admission through the official website, ignouadmission.samartha.edu.in.
Earlier, the last date of IGNOU entry 2025 was set for March 15, but the extension gives applicants more time to complete the application process. It is important to note that a DEB ID is mandatory to apply.
“Last date for submission of application (except for certificate and semester-based programs): 31 March 2025. Please note: DEB ID is mandatory to submit the application. Please create your DEB ID before starting the application process,” reads the official website.
The DEB ID IGNOU has a unique identity number created by a student wishing to enroll in any online or Open and Distance Learning (ODL) program. Developed by the University Grants Commission (UGC), this ID helps students easily identify and enroll in recognized institutions. Once made, the DEB ID is valid for all future educational activities and entry.
Steps to fill IGNOU Registration Form 2025
step 1: Visit the official ignau admission website: ignouadmission.samartha.edu.in.
step 2: Click on the link ‘Ignnau Registration’.
step 3: Enter your personal and educational details to complete the initial registration.
Choose a user name and create a password.
step 4: Log in using your credentials and complete the IGNOU registration form.
Step 5: Upload the required documents including your photo, signature, caste certificate and educational certificate.
