Airport News: The person who was being searched for in a high profile case related to IGI Airport was found to have died years ago. But for how long will the culprit be happy? Though a little late, the IGI Airport Police reached the door of the real culprit while searching for him. And when the truth of this case came out, everyone was shocked.
Actually, this whole case is related to the theft of jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from a flight. In this case, IGI police had arrested a guest house owner and a jeweller from Paharganj, who were identified as Rajesh Kapoor and Sharad Jain. Investigation revealed that Rajesh Kapoor used to steal from the bags of elderly passengers in the flight and Sharad Jain used to buy the stolen jewellery.
According to a senior police officer of IGI Airport, during the investigation of the case, another name was zeroed in and this name was Yashpal. During the investigation, it was found that Yashpal is also a common name, which was common in every flight related to the jewelry theft incident. During the investigation of this case, the police came to know that the Yashpal they were looking for had died years ago.

After this revelation, the police became convinced that someone else was traveling using Yashpal’s name. While investigating the documents of accused Rajesh, the police noticed his father’s name, which had Yashpal in it. After which, Rajesh was questioned once again. During the interrogation, Rajesh revealed that he used to travel by air in the name of his dead brother Rishi as well as his dead father Yashpal.

Eight new incidents and the name of a new jeweler were revealed
According to IGI Airport DCP Usha Rangnani, during interrogation Rajesh disclosed the eight incidents of theft in which he had travelled by air in the name of his dead father. It is worth mentioning that on the information given by Rajesh, IGI Airport Police had recovered four gold rings, two pairs of earrings, three bracelets, two chains, a maang tikka, six necklaces (418 grams), 660 small diamonds and some other gems.
