In the war against Ukraine, the dictator’s army is also on the battlefield with Russia. Dictator Kim Jong Un is helping his friend Putin with army and weapons. America is continuously raising objections regarding this. America has even said that Ukraine should now retaliate against North Korean troops. However, now Russia has harassed America in front of everyone.
In fact, Russia rebuked from the UN platform and said that if Western countries including America can help Ukraine then why can’t North Korea help Moscow in the war against Ukraine? Russia’s UN envoy Vasily Nebenzia on Wednesday raised the question that when Western countries can claim to help Ukraine, then why can’t their allies like North Korea help Moscow in the war against Ukraine? However, in the Security Council meeting, America, Britain, South Korea, Ukraine and other countries criticized Russia. Everyone accused Russia of violating UN resolutions and the founding UN Charter by deploying troops from North Korea.
Why did America object?
South Korea’s UN Ambassador Junkook Hwang said that supporting aggression is illegal and against the principles of the UN Charter. At the same time, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said on Wednesday that about 10,000 North Korean soldiers are already in eastern Russia. He said it appeared they would be used to support military operations in Russia’s Kursk region near the border with Ukraine.
Russian envoy warns America
Russian envoy Nebenzia hit back at the allegations. He said that Russia’s military talks with North Korea do not violate international law. He said, ‘If what the West is saying about cooperation between Russia and North Korea is true, then does only the US and its allies have the right to help Ukraine? Don’t Russia’s allies have the right to do anything like this? However, Russia has not denied the participation of North Korean troops in this war. The war between Russia and Ukraine continues since February 2022.

North Korea’s UN ambassador Song Kim told the council: “If Russia’s sovereignty and security interests continue to be threatened by dangerous efforts by the United States and Western countries, and if we feel we must respond, we will take appropriate decisions.” In fact, North Korea has been under UN Security Council sanctions since 2006. North Korea has not accepted the deployment of its troops in Russia, but it says that any such step will be taken only under international law. However, many reports claim that North Korean soldiers are fighting a war against Ukraine in collaboration with the Russian army. Dictator Kim Jong Un is also helping Putin by providing weapons and military equipment.
