Muzaffarpur. Everyone has started preparations for the holy month of Sawan. Garibnath Dham, famous as Deoghar of North Bihar, is flooded with devotees during Sawan. Shiva devotees from all over the country come here during Sawan. The administration, temple committee and volunteers are all ready to welcome the devotees. Extensive arrangements have been made at the temple and on the entire route.
Lakhs of Kanwariyas perform Jalabhishek at Baba Garibnath Dham. To come to the temple, Kanwariyas carry water from Pahelaja Ghat in Hajipur. From there, while doing the Kanwar Yatra, they offer water to Baba at Garibnath Dham in Muzaffarpur. The number of Kanwariyas is very high. Due to this, tight arrangements are made by the administration. All arrangements have been made this year as well.
22 hundred volunteers
Vinay Pathak, the head priest of Garibnath Dham, said that preparations have been made for all the devotees coming here. This year devotees will get more facilities. LED wall TV screens will be installed outside the temple. Devotees will be able to see Baba from outside as well. There is also a good arrangement for coming and going. The head priest of the temple further said that more than 22 hundred volunteers will be in the service of Kanwariyas. They will ensure that Kanwariyas do not face any difficulty on the way of Kanwar Yatra. Along with this, it has been decided that all Kanwariyas and other devotees will do Jalabhishek on Baba through Argha only.
Route chart for Kanwadis
The route chart for Sawan Mela is ready. The devotees coming from Fakuli will reach Aghoria Bazaar Chowk via Ramdayalu Overbridge, then Harisabha Chowk, Pani Tanki Chowk and reach Zila School. There will be a zig zag in Zila School. Then from there they will reach Chhoti Kalyani via Amar Cinema Road. Then from there they will perform Jalabhishek in Garib Sthan Temple from Prabhat Cinema Chowk. Like last year, for Dak Kanwadis, there will be direct entry on the basis of band after registration in Pahelaja.
