If Mallikarjun Kharge wants to join BJP then he should come and he can come, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, reacting to the Congress President’s statement, said that ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi should first read our manifesto and then we can Can discuss.
“PM Modi can read and write English very well. You (Congress) have written your manifesto in both Hindi and English. Why should there be any supplementary communication?…Why should there be any meeting between Kharge and BJP at this time?” Year
“If Kharge wants to join BJP then he should come and he can come, then I will go to his house and escort him. Otherwise, what is the need for him to meet the PM?…” the Assam CM further said.
Kharge wrote a letter to PM Modi
In an open letter to PM Modi, Kharge said that he would be happy to meet him to explain the reality of the Congress Nyaya Patra which is for the people of India.
This letter was shared by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on his social media platform X. This letter comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress over its manifesto.
“I am neither shocked nor surprised by your language or your speeches over the past few days,” he said. It was expected that after seeing the disappointing performance of the BJP in the first phase, you and other leaders of your party would start speaking like this in the elections,” Kharge said in his letter.
He said, Congress has been talking about the deprived poor and their rights (justice).
Kharge said, “We know that you and your government are not concerned about the poor and the deprived.”
The Congress chief claimed that his election manifesto talks about the welfare of every section of the society.
