The sedan segment has been looking at the rapidly shrinking sales number over the years due to increasing pressure from SUVs and MPVs. The pressure on the OEM is so high that many car manufacturers have stopped offering sedans in the Indian market. Hyundai is one of some vehicle manufacturers in the country who still continue to sell the sedan. Auto veteran currently sells Midsize sedan and Abha sub-compact sedan.
Hyundai Varna is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engine. Transmission options for sedan include six-speed manual, CVT and seven-speed DCT automated units. Hyundai is also available in 10 different external color options and seven variants.
