New Delhi. India’s second largest car manufacturer Hyundai has also decided to enter the Indian stock market. The company will soon enter the Indian market through IPO. A proposal in this regard has also been presented to the top boss of the company. This South Korean car manufacturing company has maintained a strong hold in the Indian market and is now preparing to reach out to small investors.
Hyundai entered the Indian market about 30 years ago and today it has become the second largest company after Maruti. The headquarters of the company is located in Gurugram, but the largest manufacturing plant is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The company has now proposed to launch an IPO to enter the stock market. The final decision on this is yet to be taken, but it is believed that this could be the biggest IPO in the country. It is estimated that this IPO could be worth around Rs 25 thousand crores.

When will the company’s IPO come?
Quoting Times of India, it is being said that the Indian unit of the company has made preparations to launch an IPO. It will be launched in the Indian market around Diwali. Currently, the biggest IPO in the country was that of LIC, which was worth Rs 21 thousand crores. It is being claimed that Hyundai is preparing to launch an even bigger IPO.
The proposal has been presented in Seoul
Sources related to the matter say that Hyundai has taken the help of 4 top banking advisors of the world for its IPO. Many investment advisors including Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have also shown the draft and proposal regarding the IPO to the company’s top bosses in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

What is the value of the company?
Hyundai’s IPO is still in its initial stage, which depends on many factors including the market. Valuation of the company is also being done for IPO. Financial institutions keeping an eye on the IPO believe that the market value of Hyundai is being estimated at around 22 to 28 billion dollars (about Rs 2.32 lakh crore).
