New Delhi. The country’s largest automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce the fourth generation Swift in India. The new Swift (2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift) will be launched by the company on Thursday (May 9). Some of its features have been revealed before its official release.
Reports suggest that the new Swift is likely to be offered in 5 variants – LXI, VXI, VXI (O), ZXI and ZXI+. According to the leak, it seems that the upcoming Swift will hit the market with a long list of powerful features. The list includes rear defogger, halogen projector headlamps, hill start assist, dual airbags at the front and curtain airbags. All this is expected to come in the standard package.
lxi
According to reports, the base variant LXI will get some good features like manual AC, power windows, physically internally adjustable ORVMs, adjustable front headrest, multi-functional tilt steering wheel and 12V power socket etc.
VXI and VXI(O)
Talking about mid-spec VXI and VXI (O), it will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, it will also feature height-adjustable driver seat, electrically-adjusted ORVMs, steering-mounted controls, automatic AC and keyless entry with engine start/stop button.
ZXI
The ZXI trim is expected to get the full LED treatment at both ends. It may come with projector headlamp setup with stylish DRL. It can run on 15 inch alloy wheels. It can get advanced features like wireless phone charger, automatic climate control with rear AC vent, 60:40 split folding rear seat and rear washer and wiper.
ZXI+
The top variant ZXI+ will be packed with some impressive features and will have a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In this, customers can get to see features like Archimis audio system, color MID, cruise control.
