Meghan starts her morning with a healthy and energizing breakfast. Meghan likes to skip caffeine in the afternoon to stay energetic, opting to drink refreshing green juice instead. In an interview with TODAY, he shared, “When you’re battling that 4 p.m. slump, it’s easy to fall into the trap of running for coffee. But if I add some apples, kale, spinach, lemon, and ginger to my Vitamix in the morning and bring it to work, I always find that sipping is much better than a cup of espresso.

Her snack is as simple as it is delicious – apple slices with peanut butter. According to the royal biography Finding Freedom, it was her favorite pick-me-up between meals.

Meghan thinks about cozy Sunday dinners with family and friends. Speaking to TODAY, she shared her love for hearty meals like lamb tagine, pot roast, or comforting soups. Meghan also loves slow-cooked dishes, revealing that one of her favorites is Filipino-style chicken adobo. “It’s very simple,” she said. “Just add garlic, soy (or Bragg liquid aminos), vinegar, maybe some lemon, and let the chicken cook until it falls apart from the bone in the Crock-Pot.”

Meghan’s comfort food

Meghan has previously revealed a surprising craving for her all-time favorite comfort food, mac and cheese. In an interview with iSwoon, she admitted, “I now buy Annie’s Organic if I feel like it, but I also throw some frozen peas in it and enjoy this delicious, simple, kid-like meal. ” Meghan remembers baking it for the children she looked after and it always brought out the child in her.

Interestingly, mac and cheese was also one of Prince Harry’s favorite dishes while growing up. Former royal chef Darren McGrady shared that he used to make it regularly for both Harry and Prince William at Kensington Palace.
