Honda has launched its NX500 adventure tourer car in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle, which replaces the CB500X in the company’s lineup, will be sold in India via the CBU (completely built) route.

The manufacturer said the NX500 can only be purchased through Honda’s Bigwing dealerships, and said deliveries are scheduled to begin in February. Three color options are being offered: Grand Prix Red, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Horizon White.

The bike is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC engine with a parallel twin-cylinder layout. Generating maximum power of 46.5 bhp and peak torque of 43 Nm, this motor comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
