Holi 2024: The festival of colors is around the corner and we already can’t wait for it to arrive. Every year Holi is celebrated with great pomp and grandeur throughout the country. Holi celebrates the eternal love and union of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. Holi also celebrates the victory of Lord Vishnu over Hiranyakashipu, emphasizing that good always triumphs over evil. This year Holi will be celebrated on 25th March. A day before Holi, Chhoti Holi or Holika Dahan is celebrated. Many customs and traditions are followed all over India on the day of Holi. While Phulwali Holi is celebrated in Vrindavan, Lathmar Holi is celebrated in Barnsana and Nandgaon towns.

Thandai rules the drinks table – a delicious blend of milk, spices and sweetness. One of the main attractions of Holi is Bhang. However, after its effects wear off, so does the hangover the next morning.

Tips to get rid of cannabis hangover

hydrate the body: Hydration is essential to deal with the bhang hangover during Holi. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and rehydrate your body.

drink coconut water: Consuming electrolyte-rich fluids like coconut water can help replenish lost nutrients.

a balanced diet: Eating a balanced diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats will help control blood sugar and reduce nausea.

Herbal Tea and Relaxation: Herbal teas, such as ginger or peppermint, help relax and relieve stomach discomfort. Resting in a quiet, dark place can also help your body recover.

limit alcohol consumption: To avoid worsening symptoms, limit alcohol and cannabis consumption. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately.
