The English paper of class 12 of Haryana School Education Board was leaked from an examination center in Tapan village in Nuh district of Haryana on Thursday. Accused, three students and two observers, accused of taking pictures of paper with mobile phones, have been arrested in connection with the leaks.
According to NUH SADAR Police, Class 12 English Examination for Haryana Education Board was conducted at the Government Senior Secondary School in Tapan village. The center in -charge, Sanjeev Kumar, filed a complaint with the police, stating that the supervisors Rukmuddin and Shaukat had posted in rooms 5 and 6, several times asked to close the windows, but they left them open. Each room had 24 students. Around 2:30 pm, unknown persons allegedly entered the rooms, took pictures of the question paper, and sent them out.
Investigations have revealed that in the room 6, separate sets of question papers for students’ monis and nafees were leaked in the room 5 and Mustakem in room 5. The Center Supervisor claimed that two observers along with the students violated the Haryana Examination Act and conspired to send the question paper to unknown persons.
The Nuh Sadar Police has filed a case and arrested the accused persons. Three have been taken into custody and will be presented in court on Friday. The discovery of other suspects continues. Additionally, the video shows students climbing the walls outside the schools to cheat students during the exam.
The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) started the Class 12 Board Examination on 27 February 2025. All exams will be in the same shift from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. According to the official timetable, Haryana Class 12th Board Exam 2025 is scheduled to end on 29 March.
This year, a total of 5,16,787 students will appear for class 10 and 12 board examinations in Haryana. This includes 2,72,421 boys and 2,44,366 girls. The examination will be held at 1,433 centers across the state.
