Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who were holidaying in Australia for some time, celebrated the New Year in the southern soil. Some time back, Sonakshi wished her fans a Happy New Year on Instagram. She posted a video in which she and Iqbal can be seen enjoying spectacular fireworks and celebrations in Australia. Sonakshi married Zaheer on June 23 this year at her residence in Mumbai in the presence of her loved ones. It was an intimate wedding. After the wedding, a celebration was organized at Mumbai’s popular restaurant and event venue Bastian, which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities.
Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before finalizing their relationship. The couple recently made an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where they opened up about their dating life.
Recalling his initial attempts to approach Shatrughan Sinha, Zaheer quipped, “Once or twice when I went to meet him, there were 6-8 bodyguards standing around, then how was it possible to ask for his hand in marriage?” Was?” This audience started crying bitterly.
Sonakshi laughed, “Then he said to me, ‘I think we’re ready to talk to the parents,’ and I said, ‘Yes, then let’s talk to them.'” Zaheer defended himself. Said, “Why should I talk to him? I have talked to my father, you should talk to yourself.”
Sonakshi admitted, “He had a point, so I went to my father and talked to him and he was happy, so everyone was happy.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer starred together in the film Double XL in 2022.
