The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) has officially clarified that a fake press release claims that Class 12 Science Stream Results and Gujcet 2025 results will be announced on April 17, 2025 at 9 am. The board confirmed that this is wrong and no such announcement has been made by GSEB. Once announced, the notification will be made available on official websites, gseb.org and gsebeservice.com.

GSEB said that he has not issued any such press release. Students and parents have been warned against relying on informal sources.

The final answer key of the Gujarat was released on 10 April. The answers to physics were updated, although there has been no change in the answers of mathematics, chemistry and biology. According to the marking plan, each correct answer will earn one digit and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong effort. Unreserved category candidates require a overall score of 45 percent or 54 out of 120 marks. SC, ST, and OBC candidates will get 40 percent or 48 out of 120 to clean the examination.

HSC and SSC exams were held in two shifts from 27 February to 17 March. The morning shift exam was held from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm and the second innings from 3 pm to 6:15 pm. The GSEB HSC Science Stream Exam was held from 3 pm to 6:30 pm in the second innings.

Students will have to get at least 33 percent score in each subject to pass the Gujarat Board HSC Science Examination. Those who get 20 points or below fall in the F category, which means fail. They will be able to apply for the supply examination for all subjects and the best score and supply exams will be taken into consideration out of board exams.
