Pro. (Dr.) Yatish Aggarwal assumes charge as Vice Chancellor of GS University, Hapur. Dr. Aggarwal received his MD and D.Sc. in Radiodiagnosis from Delhi University. From Allahabad and Rajasthan.
Primarily a medical university, the GS Group runs MBBS, MD and MS programs at the GS Medical College and Hospital, and the university has an Ayurvedic Medical College, a Nursing College and a large number of para-medical health science courses.
Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ankit Sharma expressed confidence that the university will benefit from Dr. Aggarwal’s long academic experience. Until recently, Dr. Aggarwal was the Dean of the University School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

Dr. Aggarwal has written more than 60 books, which have sold more than 30 lakh copies, written hundreds of articles, radio and television serials, has been a regular contributor to the Manorama Year Book, and has appeared in both major national dailies since 1981.
