Namo Bharat Train Kandi Train as Trial

Meerut: Kranti Dhara Meerut is constantly moving towards development. Whether to go to Bulandshahr, Garhmukteshwar, Bijnor or Saharanpur, travelers can now reach their destination via modern highway. At the same time, high-speed Namo Bharat Train is also adding a new dimension to the development of Meerut. Currently this train is operating from Meerut South to New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, and it is likely that its operation will start from Shatabdi Nagar around Holi.
On this, the local-18 team reviewed the Shatabdi Nagar station through a ground report.

Namo Bharat train will stop at four stations in Meerut
Talking about Namo Bharat train, it will stop at a total of four stations in Meerut, from where passengers will be able to travel towards Delhi. According to NCRTC, currently the Namo Bharat train from Meerut South is going on, in which thousands of passengers are traveling daily. In this series, the trial process of the train has started from Meerut South to Shatabdi Nagar, so that it can be started from here soon. After Shatabdi Nagar, this train will stop only at Begumpul and Modipuram stations.

Namo Bharat Station will become a better medium for connectivity
Special planning has been done by NCRTC regarding Namo Bharat train stations. Currently, Namo Bharat train is being operated from Meerut South Station, which connects Partapur on the Dehradun Expressway. Through this, passengers coming from Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Roorkee and Dehradun are also traveling to Delhi.
The second major station is Shatabdi Nagar, from where both Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro will be operated. This station will also be connected to Ganga Expressway, Hapur Expressway and Ring Road, so that passengers will also be able to connect to Garhmukteshwar Expressway. This will give more convenience to the passengers in the journey to Delhi.

Begumpul and Modipuram stations will also be important
Dil Begumpul of Meerut will also be made the center of operating both trains. Apart from this, Modipuram station will also be an important part of this route. Special preparations are being made keeping in mind the convenience of passengers at these stations.

This station is also very special
After Meerut South, there will be two metro stations of Partapur and Rithani in addition to Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station in additional section of 6 kilometers up to Shatabdi Nagar. After the commissioning of this section, passengers will be able to enjoy a fast and efficient journey between New Ashok Nagar and Shatabdi Nagar. This will reduce the time of traveling 61 km less than 45 minutes.
Shatabdi Nagar, Meerut will be the second Namo Bharat Station, where services of both Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro will be available. This station will be developed as a main transit hub. For the convenience of the passengers, two entry-nikas gates have been built on both sides of the road. The station will be 15 meters high and 215 meters long.
